It's great to see that some of you know Geeqie's code well enough to look
into fixing issues with its file list operations.

One old problem from GQview's era is still present in Geeqie, too. If one
uses a separate app to rename/delete files in the directory, which is
currently being read/used by Geeqie, this sometimes crashes Geeqie. It
has been filed as a bug report, and occasionally one can see users ask
about it at various places.
