Hi Klaus

I am by no means conversant with this but I have registered the PPAs for 
Darktable and Pan to keep up to date with them, my understanding is that 
the PPA is in effect a project specific repository hosted by 
launchpad.net, there is loads of stuff on there by the looks of it

Best bet is probably to look at launchpad.net to see if it helps you
