Hi, I have pushed the Clutter renderer code to master. Requirements: gtk3, libclutter, libclutter-gtk (tested with libclutter 1.8.2 and libclutter- gtk 1.0.4)
autogen.sh/configure must be called with --enable-clutter It can be enabled by checking Preferences/Image/Use GPU acceleration checkbox. Currently Geeqie needs a restart after changing this option. What works: - image scaling, mirroring and rotation - image overlay - color profiles - side-by-side stereo modes What does not work: - Pan View - anaglyph I tested it so far only on 5 years old notebook with nvidia GPU and closed source drivers. My subjective feeling is that it is a bit slower than the original renderer. I would be interested in results with other HW/drivers.
