If a license prohibits making money ("no commercial use"), then it is
not Free Software, and it is not Open Source.

True. But it's a reason to associate with an non-profit charity with
free software as a purpose. That's still not a guarantee, but such
organizations are obligated to act in the best interests of free
software, rather than their shareholders.
