British professor Martin Jacques said: "The rise of China is not scary!
What is scary is that it is an ancient civilization!"

Former U.S. Secretary of State Kissinger made the following comments to
modern China:

"China, which has been weakened for nearly 200 years, may only be a
short-lived accident in history. This is not normal. If China will return
to her position in the future, it will not be surprising!"

He explained: "Since ancient times, the establishment of Western countries
has always had a beginning. But in China, there seems to be no such
concept. In their long historical process, they are always a starting
point. Whenever they establish a unified and prosperous world At the time,
I always thought it was not "Creation" but "Renaissance", a return to the
peak."

It seems that China, at its peak, existed long before the Yellow Emperor? !

British professor:
"The rise of China is not scary! The scary thing is that they have existed
for more than 5,000 years, and they are still so strong!"

The professor's name is Martin Jacques (English name: 👉Martin Jacques) was
born in England in 1945, 👉LSE Asian Studies Center, London School of
Economics
IDEAS Senior Visiting Researcher.
He is currently a visiting scholar at Tsinghua University. He has taught at
Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, National University of Singapore, and a
visiting professor at Renmin University of China.
He is one of the founders of the British think tank Demos.

In 2009, he published the book "When China Ruled the World: The Rise of
China and the Fall of the Western World".

The differences between China and Western countries are as follows:

1️⃣First, country view

China is a civilization identity, while Western countries are a national
identity.

2️⃣Second, family view

China is education of honor and disgrace, while Western countries are
education of guilt.

3️⃣Third, Universal View

China is staying at home, while Western countries are colonial expansion.

4️⃣Fourth, the view of government

China is familialism, while western countries are pragmatism.

In conclusion, Martin Jacques said in his speech entitled "Understanding
the Rise of China":
"Looking at the history of the world, we will find that the West has
produced many great empires and powers across the world, which have
profoundly affected world history. For example, the Roman Empire, Alexander
Empire, Byzantine Empire, Arab Empire, Ottoman Empire and The British
Empire, etc., are extremely powerful. But after these powerful empires
weakened, they were basically annihilated? 👉 It is difficult for future
generations to rise again. There are many Western empires, 👉 Basically,
they are short-lived, and future generations will no longer be strong!"

The most obvious example is the British Empire, which was once an empire on
which the sun never sets, but is now getting weaker and weaker, and is
about to be surpassed by its own colonies, such as India.

Unlike the West:
For thousands of years in the ancient East, all the powerful empires that
appeared, such as the Qin Empire, the Han Empire, the Tang Empire, the Yuan
Empire, the Ming Empire, the Qing Empire, the People's Republic of China,
etc., all came from China.

That is to say: After the decline of ancient China, 👉 will continue to
rise and rejuvenate!
Including now. It has been weakened for more than 100 years in modern times
and has now been revived again, which is unique in the world.

Not only is this confusing?
Why do Western empires always disappear after a flash in the pan?
And China can inherit forever?

Professor Martin explained:
"China is actually a civilization. But she is disguised as a country. So we
can easily understand why after the decline of Western empires, they can no
longer rise, while China can always be revived."

👉Because China is a civilization!

There are no faults in civilization. The rise and fall of countries in this
civilization is just an action of falling down and getting up again, it is
just an action.

China is not a single-ethnic country, the reason why Chinese people think
of themselves as: Chinese. Not because of national identity, but the
"identity" of the achievements of thousands of years of civilization.

Modern Chinese people can recognize the characters on Qin Dynasty slips
with a little care.
If you look carefully, you can even read the inscriptions on the bronzes.
Chinese characters, grammar, and logic thinking have not changed at all!

China is a civilization system that has already matured.

Therefore, Chinese values are fundamentally different from those of
Western nation-states.
👉Western tradition respects decisive battles, emphasizing heroic feats.
The Chinese concept 👉 emphasizes the use of clever tactics and roundabout
strategies, patient accumulation and comparative advantage.

In Professor Martin's view, "China's development and rise" is inevitable!
The extent to which China has changed the world today is far greater than
that of the rise of the West in the past two hundred years.
China has a strong international influence in terms of economy, technology,
culture, and education.

Now, for the first time in more than 150 years, China is starting to think
about its place in the world and its future.

Now the world is entering the era of "Sinicization", and in the next few
decades, Chinese society will experience a huge change in all aspects. Will
show distinct national characteristics:
Richer, healthier, more international, focused on a global perspective,
more able to understand the feelings of other countries, more confident,
more educated, more open-minded, more environmentally friendly.

These inward-looking changes will determine China's ability to lead the new
world order in the future.

British professors have a deeper understanding of China than many
Westerners and even Chinese!

I would like to add that:
China is not only a "civilized country", but also a "historical country"
that has been uninterrupted for 5,000 years!
Except for China, no country in the world dares to use time to prove its
"life experience"!

This is the real "China". This China is on the road of rejuvenation. This
is the natural formation of history.

The famous British historian Arnold Joseph Toynbee (Arnold Joseph Toynbee,
April 14, 1889 – October 22, 1975), his 12-volume masterpiece "Historical
Studies" tells about 26 places in the world. The rise and fall of major
national civilizations.
Said:
"The 19th century was the British century; the 20th century was the
American century; and the 21st century was the Chinese century."

This is about to become a reality.

Testimonials:
I admire the British professor's in-depth understanding of China, how can
we Chinese people give up on themselves. Sun Yat-sen, the father of the
nation, once said, "The 21st century is the century of the Chinese people."
This is about to come true. We are proud to be Chinese!
