Many users acknowledged that it was the man who was the 'monkey' in this situation. Kaziyake later said that the prosecutor's office contacted to inform her that the offender had been detained. The man was identified as Nikita Ustyuzhanin. He closed all accounts and does not respond to messages from journalists. Kaziyake herself claims that Ustyuzhanin had been tried for assaulting a police officer and attempted rape. On June 16, it was reported that Nikita Ustyuzhanin was arrested for seven days. He was also ordered to undergo 50 hours of community service for "Inciting hatred or enmity, as well as the humiliation of human dignity" (part 1 of Art. 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "Petty hooliganism").
