But terrorists in Surabaya are themselves are well to do , one befriended the local Surabaya parliament , have cars and nice big house , which also happened to Batam Riau terrorists , they tens of millions salary , are economic upper middle class. They are indoctrinated by wrong views in Moslem Qur'an interpretation. So uplifting their general economic status will not drive radical attitudes away. And separating them in prisons is helping making them more hardened terrorists. Politicians as well as several imams are doing their best to protect them , they are only doing lip service of condemning them by prohibiting laws to hinder police inspecting suspected terrorists on the pretext they have done nothing wrong and they have their human rights. Moreover Allah Law is above and over riding any civil law. I myself are active in inter religion harmony and understanding among several religions and have thousands of Moslem friends , I am unable to prevent their radical views which are common. A very gloom and sad state of the hard reality fruits of what we do. Schools we erected are nearly 90 % for needy Muslims free of charge , so are medications , economic and housing renovation help etc. Mother Teresa's transit houses also get help from Muslim volunteers - but changing radical attitudes is another matter , especially from about 5000 ISIS supporters.
