i think it's "-no-undefined" (single dash at the beginning), which is a
flag to libtool.

anyhow, when trying that i now do get a lot of errors, that the linker
cannot resolve Pd's symbols (unfortunately i get an error for each
unresolved symbol on each of the 540 or so object files, so i cannot
properly tell which symbols apart from pd.lib are missing)

the linking stage takes quite long, so i'll have to resort to a dummy
library first ...
