I'll test it out when I get a chance. In the meantime, attached are two test programs (from my test-suite http://www.csl.cornell.edu/~vince/projects/vmw-testsuite/ ) They test truncate/ftruncate/truncate64/ftruncate64 in case you want to run some tests too. These tests depend on the various truncate syscalls being hooked up on x86, as well as the stat64-related patch series I posted last week also being applied. Vince
