First, the files that restore from a checkpoint always seem to have 24 more instructions in instCnt and funcExeInst than the original run. Second, sometimes the first field of rtc.clock_data (the seconds field?) is a 1 in the checkpoints regenerated from earlier checkpoints, even though it's always a 0 in the original checkpoints.
