I've been tinkering with SysPaths.py, and I noticed that the boot directory in /dist isn't what's used. There's one in the tree in "configs" which is used instead. The scripts in there are obviously geared towards disk images with files in certain places, so keeping those in the tree apart from those disk images doesn't really make sense. It is nice, though, to have revision control for them even though they probably rarely change and haven't been touched in a long time. We need to figure out a better way to distribute kernels, disk images, etc., as has been mentioned a number of times before, but once we do the configs should go there and not in the tree.
