Hi,
I was using gem5 in FS mode. i tried blackscholes with 2 and 4 cores.
i found out the number of barriers committed are above 7000, but according
to the paper
" The PARSEC Benchmark Suite: Characterization and Architectural
Implications " (table-1), it has 8 barriers.
Can someone tell me what actually it means when m5 stats show-
# of membars committed - 7400 . (Are these barriers generated by the system
itself because i was using FS mode)
Then how to differentiate the barriers present in the program and barriers
from the system side?
