Hi, I took over a simulation work with includes a customized m5 v2-beta6. I just copy the m5 directory to my computer, however I can't run either ALPHA_SE/m5.fast or ALPHA_FS/m5.opt. I tried recompile it (in the existing directory) via "scons build/ALPHA_SE/m5.fast". It fails because the directory structure is different with the current gem5.
I can successfully install the run the gem5 from the beginning of getting m5 source codes. However, the customized python files (in my beta6) can't be used in gem5. E.g. some benchmark simulation scripts, which are customized referring to page http://gem5.org/SPEC2006_benchmarks can not be run under gem5. And I found the page mentioned before is still talking about old m5 (beta6). Does anybody know how I can get a runnable m5 beta6 version? And, is there any plan to modify the documents in gem5.org to support current gem5? Thanks and regards, HX
