I would like to ask a question about the sim-step parameter of opal module. I am using a 16 core system and I am trying to simulate the series of parsec 2.1 benchmarks. I use an integer N as a sim-step value. My questions is what exactly N means? During my observations of the results I saw that the first core run N instructions and the other 15 cores different number of instructions, most times much greater than N. Is that true?
