Hello,

I am trying to compile a new linux kernel for 64 core support for alpha
machine.
I am following the steps as suggested in the gem5
webpage: http://gem5.org/Linux_kernel

I am currently stuck in the step mentioned below for the compiling for alpha
core for linux kernel
# Copy the default config file to .config
cp .config.m5 .config
Can you please let me know as to where can i download the ".config.m5"
compilation? The kernel version is 2.6.27.61.

I also wanted to ask if the whole system can have 2 values of CPU frequencies.
Say for instance, alpha system with 2 cores. One core running at 1Gz and
another core running at 2Gz. Can this be possible?? If yes can you please let
me know as to how this can be done.

Thank you.

regards
Sudhanshu.
