[gem5-users] relationship between numcycles and sim_ticks

Hi,

    I am running a multi-core simulation on Gem5. I had a basic question as
to how the sim_ticks are calculated. Ideally sim_ticks should be the
product of numcycles and clock, numcycles being the highest number of
cycles of all the cycles. But in the stat.txt, it is not the case-
sim_ticks being very large compared to the product of numcycles and clock.
Could anybody help me in understanding what the relationship between them
is?
