Hi, I am wondering how to use simpoint in X86 SE mode. I know there are detailed command line examples from the ASPLOS tutorial, but I am having trouble understanding those commands. Do I first run *m5.fast configs/example/se.py --bench=gcc_integrate --take-checkpoint=0 --simpoint *in order to create the simpoint and run *m5.fast configs/example/se.py --bench=gcc_integrate --standard_switch --caches --fast-forward=5000000 --max-inst=100000 --warmup-insts=1000000 *if I would like to fastforward and warmup caches?
Also, I am not sure if there is any update on simpoint for the X86 version. Is it still only supported on Alpha? Thank you. Jee Ho Ryoo
