For getting the power data for a core, I have fed McPAT tool with stats.txt file. The output I get from McPat shows that the power consumption (which is known as Runtime Dynamic) per core is very large whereas I want the power consumption (per core) to be less than 1 Watt. Does anybody know whether there is any relation between the execution time (known as sim_seconds in stats.txt) and the power consumption (Runtime Dynamic in McPat)? I do not know why I am getting a large number for the power consumption of a core. Thanks, Shervin
