Hey guys, It was mentioned in some of the gem5 tutorials that 'arm_detailed' should be very close to Cortex-A15. While many details seems to be really close to what we have in A15 branch prediction unit seems to be different. Tournament scheme used by 'arm_detailed' doesn't look very close to A15's spec I'm looking at.
(1) Am I right that the BP schemes used by 'arm_detailed' and A15 are different? Maybe I missed something? (2) If they are different does anyone compared the behaviors of these BP schemes? I assume that some work was done because many parameters (sizes) of the tournament unit used by 'arm_detailed' are very close to ones used by A15. Really appreciate your help! Many thanks! Oleg
