Hello I am trying to update the linux kernel to v2.6.27 following the steps in http://www.m5sim.org/wiki/index.php/Compiling_a_Linux_Kernel However, the first command : hg clone http://www.kernel.org/hg/linux-2.6/gives me an error about hg. Does anyone know how this should be done?
I have downloaded file vmlinux_2.6.27-gcc_4.3.4, is this the same thing as the hg? If so, where should I put it? Thanks HZ
