I ran into compiler errors with g++ when I had insufficient RAM+swap space. How much RAM do you have, and how much swap?

I have done all of this ( according to the youtube video) on 32 bit. I have installed G++. I looked for this kind of error online but I couldn't find anything. Could somebody help me?
