The number outside is the count of the number of messages of type Request_Control on that link, which is 550. The number of bytes transferred is 4400 (since each Request_Control message is 8 byte long). Note sure why there are 10 numbers inside. It is some kind of histogram. You can take a look at the SimpleNetwork.cc and Switch.cc to see what gets printed.
