Dear all,

After the discussion of the simulation options, I want to confirm whether or not the cache is warmed up by using "-F" and "-I" options only in command line (don't use "-s" and "-W"). Of course, during the fastforwarding, the memory subsystem is in Atomic mode (every port use "sendActomic/recvAtomic"). I think the cache still works in the Atomic mode (cacheline installation, eviction, invalidation...) so that it has been warmed up when CPU switches to detailed mode. If this is true, why we need "-W" (SimpleTiming CPU mode). Is it necessary to use the stardard switch--"-F -s -W -I" to warm up the cache?

Regards,
