Dear all,
After the discussion of the simulation options, I want to confirm
whether or not the cache is warmed up by using "-F" and "-I" options
only in command line (don't use "-s" and "-W"). Of course, during the
fastforwarding, the memory subsystem is in Atomic mode (every port use
"sendActomic/recvAtomic"). I think the cache still works in the Atomic
mode (cacheline installation, eviction, invalidation...) so that it has
been warmed up when CPU switches to detailed mode. If this is true, why
we need "-W" (SimpleTiming CPU mode). Is it necessary to use the
stardard switch--"-F -s -W -I" to warm up the cache?
