Well I know that gem5 can simulate processors like ARM SPARC X86, I am now studying on how to create a new processor with a new ISA, new architecture. Maybe I should read over most of the gem5 codes, which will cost much time. I wonder if there is someone who has the experience with doing that, and give me some advice on how to do it, like the codes structure, or which codes I should modify or rewrite. Another question is how the gcc comipler work with the gem5 simulator, how they are connected? Any reply is appreciated~Thank U ~!
