Hi, Gem5 user, I want to run Bbench FS mode with arm_detailed CPU, with the gb image download from the gem5 website and kernel vmlinux.smp.mouse.arm.
then i got error "panic: Uncachable load [sn:42fa3c1] PC (0xc016e0cc=>0xc016e0d0).(0=>1)" I checked the mail list and someone said that we can first use "timing" to boot the system and then switch to arm_detailed/detailed cpu. I just add a checkpoint in the configs/boot/bbench-gb.rcS (m5 checkpoint 10000, actually I dont know how long will it take to boot the system, I just assume 10000 ns if fine )and then run with timing cpu without cache. Then after the checkpoint, I switch to detailed CPU, use "-s 1" in the command line. But it has run for a long time, more than one day, and it's still running. What's more, form the the m5term, it seems that the simulation stuck at someplace and nothing new shows. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my simulation? do I miss something? Any hint is appreciable. And have anyone try to get InOrder CPU in ARM isa? do we have any patch can let gem5 run inorder cpu in arm isa? Thanks Thanks in advance.
