Hi gem5 community I was attempting to share a floating point unit of a o3 core with a in order core. I could so far intercept the floating point instructions in inorder core and used the execution timing model in inst_queue_impl.hh of o3. I am confused about what all bases to cover as inorder core too performs execute-in-execute and also at memory and write back stages. Your inputs are much appreciated.
