Hello, I am running 2 programs with "build/X86/gem5.opt configs/example/se.py -n 2 --cpu-type=timing [...]" but I am not sure to understand when the simulation ends. At first I thought the simulation terminates as soon as one of the programs finishes. Indeed, I noticed, according to the number of committedInstrs, that one program is done and not the other. However I've also noticed on an example a number of cycles (cpu.numCycles) very different between the 2 processors.
So I am quite confused now. How can the number of cycles be different from one processor to another? And when the simulation stops exactly? Thank you for your help, Maxime.
