Hi there! I know, you might think what's the need for yet another program of
such type... This is a small python program that uses jinja2 [1], so
theoretically it should be simpler to have more generic templates that can
handle multiple types of configurations (modularity, control structures like
conditionals and loops, etc.).

The templates available with this project [2] are split into small templated
parts (cpu, cache, etc.), and up to some extent it is able to generate per-cpu
statistics.

Note that the provided templates are just a rough example, not complete nor
necessarily accurate. The ideal would be to have the gem5 community gradually
build a set of template pieces that people can then mix and match.

Of course, I'm open to patches.
