Hello, I am trying to run PARSEC benchmarks while varying the cache size and view the effect on simulation.
For some reason, I am getting the same results no matter what cache size I am setting. My command line: ./build/X86/gem5.fast ./configs/example/ruby_fs.py —kernel=x86_64-vmlinux-2.6.28.4-smp —script=./scripts/swaptions.rcS —l2_size=“1MB” —num-cpus 1 I tried changing the actual config/common/Options.py as well as varying the size as a command line option. Can anyone explain why this is happening? Another question: how can I view what the simulation is actually using for cache size during/after execution?
