Dear List, I'm trying to setup some workloads that require openssl (ssh service for H-Store and apache with mod_ssl for SpecWeb09) in a X86/Linux simulated machine. Unfortunately, I'm unable to do it because libssl.so raises a segmentation fault in one of the glibc components (libnss_files.so) at gethostbyname(). This is happening with different kernels (2.6.28-3.2.22), different distros (Debian 7,8 and Centos6) and different gem5 change sets (latest stable to latest inestable) using the default fs.py.
I'm trying to debug the problem but it is taking a large amount of time (due to the simulator speed), I wonder if someone else in the list have faced similar problems with SSL and libnss_files.so ? Thanks in advance -- vpuente
