Hi, I'm using PARSEC full system image from UT-Austin for ALPHA. I need to bind some threads to specific cores. I search the mailing list, and some one used "m5 pin" to do that. However, when I add "/sbin/m5 pin 0 /parsec/install/inputs/bodytrack/sequenceB_1 4 1 5 1 0 4" in the .rcS file, the simulation stops before it run into the ROI. Previous answers suggest to re-compile the latest kernel. Since maybe the kernel doesn't support the sched_setaffinity(). So could I know if the "m5 pin" support by the current image?
And is there other things I can try to bind one thread to a specific core? Any suggestion is appreciable. Regards Xiangyang
