Hi, I am making use of Android ICS image provided by AsimBench [1] and the kernel 3.4 from msm project [2]. The gem5 simulation starts properly without any errors, however when I use telnet (or M5term) to check the booting sequence, then that particular port/terminal is not showing any booting messages, and even after running simulations for long it won't terminate successfully.
However, when I am using the same Android ICS image with the kernel 2.6.35 provided by AsimBench [1] only, then gem5 simulation works properly and I am able to telnet to see the booting sequence with proper termination of simulation at the end of benchmark. I saw in the mail archive that someone was facing same issue [3], however that won't apply to me as I am terminating gem5 properly post simulation, and there are no gem5 background jobs. Could anyone please guide me on this?
