Folks, I am trying to run a PARSEC benchmark (blackscholes) on X86 architecture in SE mode. I found that one of the system call (set_tid_address) is not implemented in SE mode.
Apparently, the PARSE benchmarks can be run on FS mode only, with a linux OS booted on GEM5. IS there any way i can run PARSEC in SE mode? I have 2 main concerns, if i were to run in FS mode 1. I would have to incur the OS boot time simulation cost 2. I would not be precisely isolate my benchmark performances. the generated stats will always contain the OS harmonics. Kindly suggest. Thanks and regards, Nizamudheen A IIT Madras
