Hello everyone,

I am working on a project where we plan to experiment with different cache architectures in gem5 on ARM architecture. I am not really sure about the choice between Classic or Ruby memory model. But as I see on the status matrix page of gem5 (http://www.m5sim.org/Status_Matrix ), ARM + Ruby has been categorized as "Definitely does not work"/"Might work" (Page last updated on March 6, 2014).

Could someone tell me if ARM + Ruby is currently working in gem5 in FS or SE mode? Further, which one out of Classic or Ruby memory system makes more sense to use considering 1. we plan to implement "cache-reuse" schemes and 2. are beginners in using gem5?

Thanks
Lokesh.
