Hi Fulya, The dynamic instruction count will be higher as you also end up with wrong-path execution. See e.g. the paper from Mutlu et al, "An Analysis of the Performance Impact of Wrong-Path Memory References on Out-of-Order and Runahead Execution Processors” for an idea of how big the impact could be.
