Corrected hyperlink Hi,I want to generate the simpoints for a bechmark using
steps provided http://gem5.org/Simpoints . Problem is the steps mentioned will
give a bbv profile starting form system bootup till the end of the benchmark.
So, the simulation points then generated using Simpoint will not give the
sim-points for the benchmark alone, rather they will contain a lot of
unnecessary info.
My question is , is there a way to obtain/isolate a bbv-proflie only for the
benchmark so that simpoints can be generated for benchmark alone?
As far as I know, Simpoint is arch-independent, so perhaps we can run the
benchmark on x86(say), get a bbv profile, generate simpoints and then simulate
these simpoints on the simulator? I am simulating an Arm system,
Thanks and Regards,Abhishek Joshi
