Hi,Is it possible to make gem5 execution faster by removing the check for pc
events? I am simply interested in running a simple benchmark.
To quote Ali Saidi "(It is used for) Events that are supposed to happen when
the program counter is a certain value (as opposed to an event when the
simulated time is a certain value). It isn't widely used, but ends up being
used for things like emulating dprintk() inside gem5."
My specific concern is if it would have any side effects?
