Last time I checked, neither the branch predictor status nor the Store Sets
status is checkpointed (but I checked a while ago).
Which may be problematic since you can warmup the cache with the timing CPU
when you restore, then switch to O3, but timing does not warmup the branch
predictor (or memdep predictor).
