Hi all,
I'm trying to use the WA framework with gem5 simulator by following the
instructions reported at URL: http://www.gem5.org/WA-gem5 and
http://pythonhosted.org/wlauto/extensions/devices.html#gem5-android.
I don't know how to set the "gem5_vio_args"
parameter in the agenda file: I'have seen that the value associated to
this option is passed to gem5 at the end of its command line, but when I
set its value to " --testsys-iosys-vio-type=VirtIO9PDiod
--testsys-iosys-add-vio --testsys-iosys-VirtIO9PDiod.root={}" as
reported in the page http://www.gem5.org/WA-gem5, I receive the error message
"CRITICAL root: The gem5 process has crashed with error code 2!"
The options testsys-iosys-vio-type, testsys-iosys-add-vio and
testsys-iosys-VirtIO9PDiod are not defined for the fs.py script that I'm using
for my test.
What am I doing wrong?
What kind of changes need to be introduced to the gem5 environment in order to
use the VirtIO device and in general the WA framework?
