Hi, I am thinking of using GEM5 for a project which analyses performance of the compare-and-swap instruction on x86 machines. Could anyone comment regarding the state of current support for CAS in GEM5? Specifically: a. Is CAS implemented using cache line locks / tag-directory support? b. Relevant source code files to start digging in more.
