I am interested in using the privileged assembly instruction, wbinvd, to flush and invalidate the L1I and L1D caches. However, I am confused when execution is considered to be in "privileged" mode in both SE and FS. I am wondering if there is an "intercepting" point at which I could execute these instructions, or use something similar to my advantage (such as the system call handler).
Thank in advance.
