All the version of tools you have are fine, with the exception of gcc.
You're probably the first person to try to compile M5 with gcc 4.3
With every release gcc has been getting picker about the code it
allows. It will probably accept it if you pass the -fpermissive flag.
Additionally, changing line 152 and 172 to these respectively might
solve the problem for the current file. I don't know how many places
we do something similar.
