Hello All, I have written a piece of code using Pthreads which partitions a short time fourier transform across N threads. I am now trying to collect some data to show that it actually goes faster with more threads in M5. I am running my code in FS mode. I just am having a problem figuring out which parameter will tell me the execution time or number of cycles it takes to execute a specific executable in the sim enviroment. Any help? Also, is it true the FS mode wont run more than two cores? Is there a way I can force a thread to a speceific core in FS mode??
