Dear Sitos,

Well at the moment I am trying the link I gave you. If I am able to get it run,
I will post it to the forum. After reading your post, I thought following will
be important to you.

1. Meng's multi-threaded M5 version is between beta 4 and 5. So I guess you need
to pop all the patches and fetch new updates from M5 repo for beta 6 and push
all the patches back to support multi-threaded version[at the moment I am doing
it. But getting an error saying multiple heads. trying to figure out why]

2. Regarding the cross tool you can get one from following link rather than
using pre-compiled versions..
http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/ rather than pre-compiled one and follow how-to
link.

3. When you compile compile with -static option.

4. Regarding the non TLS toolchain, in cross tool in the demo-alpha.sh file
comment
eval `cat alpha.dat gcc-4.1.0-glibc-2.3.6-tls.dat` sh all.sh --notest
and uncomment
eval `cat alpha.dat gcc-4.1.0-glibc-2.3.6.dat` sh all.sh --notest
It will solve that problem. Same thing happen to me.

Hope these things will help you at least to a certain extent. Please let me know
any improvements as well.To be honest I am a complete newbie to M5. Therefore if
anybody found anything written above is incorrect please be kind enough to
correct. [Sitos please bear with me]

regards,
Isuru
