Hi Ali, Thanks for you reply about using Gentoo stage 3 image on creating my
own linux image. When I use the mkblankimage.sh, it fails to work.

*dd'ing the blank image (this make take a while)...
Unable to create the blank image try.img in ./*

I search into the script code and found that it uses this :

*dd if=/dev/zero of=$IMAGE_DIR/$IMAGE_NAME bs=512 count=$BLK_SIZE $OUT_PUT
*
while the /dev/zero maybe the reason of the failure. I don't know whether
others had encountered this, Is it necessary to inform other users of M5
about that the script may fail to work. Thanks !
