Hi all,
  In LSQUnit template class, methods executeLoad and executeStore, when
checking for memory dependency violations, the condition used in the first one
is:

        if (loadQueue[load_idx]->effAddrValid &&
                (loadQueue[load_idx]->effAddr >> 8) ==
                (inst->effAddr >> 8)) {

  And in the second one:

        if (loadQueue[load_idx]->effAddrValid &&
            (loadQueue[load_idx]->effAddr >> 8) ==
            (store_inst->effAddr >> 8)) {

  My doubt is about the right-shift of 8 bits. If memory access is at most to a
8 bytes value (like a 64 bits integer), why not right-shift 3 bits instead of 8?

  Thanks,

  opflucker
