Something is calling callpal halt which isn't normally done in FS  
mode. It only occurs if some kind of fatal error is happening. I don't  
have time to dig into this right now, but perhaps someone else can.  
What does the console say? Do you happen to have a callpal halt in the  
radix binary? If you look at the linux source code, there are very few  
places where call_pal halt is called, and they all mean something  
horrible has happened. Have you modified the simulator?
