hi,
i am trying to run a couple of benchmarks from Splash2 benchmark suite and i am
facing problems regarding physical memory.
To be more specific...when i am trying to run some of the kernel benchmarks
(cholesky , FFT) with 16 or more processors i am getting the following error
along with some warnings :
warn: Entering event queue @ 0. Starting simulation...
warn: Increasing stack size by one page.
warn: ignoring syscall sigprocmask(3, 18446744073709551615, ...)

warn: ignoring syscall sigaction(5, 4831387552, ...)
warn: ignoring syscall sigaction(13, 4831387552, ...)
fatal: Out of memory, please increase size of physical memory.
i am using Ubuntu 8,10 and my computer is a HP Compaq8510p ( Core 2 Duo CPU
2.20GHz and 3.0GB of RAM)
P.S. I searched the user-mail archive for similar posts , and i found some, but
when i clicked i kept linking me to different mails than those i wanted..
thanks in advance,
giannis
