I havent really been following this thread *too closely* but it seems
like if you want to explain the problem in detail you need to answer
*at minimum* these questions:
1) What benchmarks are your running?
2) How many simulations are you running?
3) What is the exact # of cores, CPU Model, cache size, cache ways,
block size, etc. for EACH simulation that you are running. Please list
them. A good way might be:
- Simulation 1: BENCHMARK=EON, CPU_MODEL=TimingSimpleCPU, 1 core, 1
thread per core, 1 MB L1 Cache, Block Size = 64
- Simulation 2: BENCHMARK=EON/GZIP,  CPU_MODEL=O3CPU, 1 core, 2
threads per core, 1 MB L1 Cache, Block Size = 64
-etc.
4) What is the error message you receive for each simulation.

It sounds like you're having a problem running a SMT O3CPU simulation
on whatever benchmark. But even if that were the problem, you would
need to provide the above information so that someone could
*replicate* the error your getting and suggest a way to solve it.
