Sorry to bother all! I'm transitioning from GEMS to ruby in M5 to study the memory performance of CMP systems. I've run the simple timing cpu with ruby enabled (RUBY=1 passed to scons build command) successfully. But when under the OoO cpu simulation, the system hangs and has no progress. After some debugging and code reading, I haven't got any useful information.
So, my question is, is it possible to make the OoO cpu simulation with the evolving ruby memory system in the M5 simulator? If it does not already work, could anybody here do me a favor to provide any hints about it?
